Applications Open For Active Clubs Grant
The Sport and Recreation 'Active Clubs' program is currently open for clubs to apply.
Active Clubs provides funding of up to $2,000 (GST exclusive) to eligible organisations for either equipment or training to deliver physical activity opportunities throughout Queensland.
Clubs can apply for:
On field support to help deliver quality physical activity experiences or;
Off field support to improve your ability to manage the organisation.
Key dates for round 1:
17 October 2019 - Applications open
15 November 2019 - Applications close at 5.00pm
31 January 2020 - Approved projects can begin (subject to receipt of approval letter and terms and conditions)
31 January 2021 - Projects must be completed
Key information:
Up to $2,000 (GST Exclusive) funding available.
Organisations must be compliant with the Office of Fair Trading and our Department by close of applications.
Organisations that received recent Get Going Clubs Round 7 funding will be eligible to apply.
There will be a high demand for this funding.
Application process is through our Grants Registration Portal.
Organisations may need to update their Primary and Secondary contact details in the GRP – FAQs may assist them.
