Veto Cup Zone Titles


What is the Veto Cup Zone Titles? The Veto Cup Zone Titles will see players from across the Brisbane zone converge to compete in a four day football carnival. This Veto Cup Zone Titles will also serve as the first step towards your child’s journey as a Football Brisbane representative player at the 2019 Football Queensland Community Cup. The Veto Cup Zone Titles will be played in the following age groups: BOYS • U12 • U13 • U14 • U15 • U16

GIRLS • U13 • U15 • U17 From the 11 – 14 April, Football Brisbane will be hosting the Veto Cup Zone Titles at their state-of-the-art facility, Logan Football Complex. The Veto Cup Zone Titles will also double as the selection process for selection of Football Brisbane’s representative teams at the Football Queensland Community Cup. The Veto Cup Zone Titles will see participants involved in two games per day. The tournament will follow group stages, concluding with an exciting finals series. The finals series games will be played on Sunday 14 April. What is the Football Queensland Community Cup? The 2019 Football Queensland Community Cup, to be hosted in Cairns, will take place from 30 June to 7 July. The tournament is a statewide community junior football tournament, giving players the opportunity to compete at local representative level against other regions with over 50 teams expected to compete from across Queensland. Football Brisbane will be defending its crown in the U14 Boys and U13 Girls age groups. How can I register for the Veto Cup Zone Titles? To register your child's interest in the Veto Cup Zone Titles, please fill out the registration form - CLICK HERE. Please note, there will be a cost for entry to participate in the Veto Cup Zone Titles. This amount will cover a full kit for your zone (shirt, shorts, socks provided by Veto), referee fees and guidance from some of Football Brisbane’s best community coaches. Places for the Veto Cup Zone Titles are limited, so prompt nomination is advised. The Veto Cup Zone Titles is for Football Brisbane registered players, and is not open to NPL, NPLW or FQPL players. The registration window will close at 6pm on Sunday 22 March. What happens after I register? After you have registered, teams will be announced on Friday 29 March via email. Included in this email will be information regarding the draw for the three days, details for your team and team mates as well as details for registration payment. We look forward to showcasing community level talent from our zone at the FQ Community Cup.
