Select Teams To Face Sunshine Coast Football All Stars

The FCBPL Select Team from the recent outing against Brisbane Roar.

This coming Saturday will feature the final games of the season on the Football Brisbane calendar when the Mt Franklin Brisbane Women's Premier League and Flight Centre Brisbane Premier League Select Teams face Sunshine Coast Football's All Stars teams in the annual President's Cup being played at Elder Oval, Annerley FC. The combined scores from both games will determine the winner with Football Brisbane having dominated since inception of the President's Cup in 2014. This year will perhaps provide the closest of contests in both games following the restructure of competitions in the state and Sunshine Coast Football will be relishing the opportunity of putting an end to Football Brisbane's run of successes. Due to player unavailability, the men's squad that recently played Brisbane Roar in a pre-season fixture at Logan Metro Sports Park will be a largely different looking side.

The women's squad features a number of players from championship winning side Annerley as well as the Mt Franklin Brisbane Women's Premier League Golden Boot winner Brit Whitfield from Peninsula Power.
