Football Brisbane Seeking Board Directors

Football Brisbane Ltd is seeking nominations from interested persons in being a Director of its board as part of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Wednesday 7 February 2018. The current Football Brisbane Ltd Directors will retire at the AGM but will be eligible for re-election. In total, six (6) Directors are to be elected at the AGM for a term of up to three (3) years.
To nominate as a Director of Football Brisbane Ltd, the following conditions must be met:
A person does not have to be a Member to be nominated;
Nominations must be in writing;
A person must be nominated by a proposer which is a current Football Brisbane Director or current member (club);
A current Football Brisbane Director or current member (club) must also second the nomination (seconder);
The nomination must be signed by both the proposer and the seconder;
Nominations must:
be accompanied by a statutory declaration made by the nominee confirming that:
to the best of his or her knowledge and belief, he or she has not been involved in any activities which could materially interfere with his or her ability to act in the best interests of Football Brisbane Ltd;
to the best of his or her knowledge and belief, he or she are free from any interest or relationship which could materially interfere with his or her ability to act in the best interests of Football Brisbane Ltd; and
provide full details of any Disqualifying Position (appointed Director of Football Brisbane Ltd or filling a casual vacancy as a Director of Football Brisbane Ltd) that the nominee holds.
