Football Brisbane Update On PS4 NPL & QPL Announcement
Football Queensland has today announced the clubs that have received a five-year license for the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Queensland and Football Queensland Premier League. Congratulations to those clubs from our zone who were successful applicants during this process and we wish them well in their preparations for this significant change in the football landscape.
These new arrangements will have a flow-on impact to Football Brisbane senior men’s and junior leagues competitions, hence why Football Brisbane and Football Queensland have been working collaboratively behind the scenes to plan for the announced changes.
Now the announcement has been made, Football Brisbane will consult with its member clubs and finalise structures for 2018 and beyond.
The Women’s game is a priority for Football Brisbane and we have already begun consultation with Football Queensland around Women’s structures moving forward.
An announcement around the PlayStation 4 NPL Women’s Queensland is set for early July and once the final makeup is known Football Brisbane will be able to finalise plans for the future.
