A&T Coach & Player of the Month - March
Thanks to our partner Awards & Trophies, we are awarding the Coach and Player of the Month from the Flight Centre Premier League during the 2017 season.
Our March Coach of the Month and Player of the Month are fittingly from the same club with Mitchelton showing they're real title contenders in 2017 as they sit top of the Flight Centre Premier League table.
Leo Sirianni scoops our Coach of the Month award for March having steered his side to the top of the table with some impressive form shown along the way.
However, he doesn't accept all the credit with Assistant Coach Daniel Pennisi being singled out as having hugely contributed to the Mustangs current league position.
Meanwhile, Josh McVey has certainly proven to be a significant cog in Mitchie's wheel having contributed with 4 goals from 5 outings up to the end of the month and providing an attacking outlet for the Mustangs with his pace and agility, hence earning the Player of the Month award for March.
The pair were presented with their awards on Sunday afternoon after their latest success away to reigning premiers Lions FC in which McVey headed his sides opening goal in their 2-0 win.
