Senior & Junior Competition Fixtures Now Available

The fixtures for most senior and junior competitions are now available on the Football Brisbane website for the 2017 season.

These fixtures have been drafted based on last season's participants and league placings and have been done earlier than previous seasons with the intention of aiding clubs to have a more concise idea of where their teams are placed for the 2017 season.

Reasons for publishing fixtures prior to finalisation of competing teams was based on the following:

It provides clubs and participants alike with a clear idea of teams expected to be fielded in each division for the 2017 season.
Offers clubs more opportunity to provide feedback on the scheduling of their home fixtures which will assist in their planning of resources, e.g., volunteers, coaches, etc;
Provides participants with another medium in which to view the scheduled fixture weekends, aside from the season calendar; and
By completing the majority of the formulation of fixtures at this time, this will assist Football Brisbane in ensuring fixtures are finalised in a timely manner and avoid last minute draw publications when clubs finalise their teams.
