Competitions Administrator – Football Brisbane

Competitions Administrator Position Vacancy

About Football Brisbane

The Football Brisbane zone is responsible for the administration of football in the greater Brisbane area and encompasses approximately 30,000 players across 71 clubs. We administer football from the very top Senior Men’s and Women’s Premier Leagues through to grassroots junior football.

Our area extends from Caboolture in the north, Ipswich in the west, Beenleigh in the south and out to Redlands in the east.

This opportunity arises following a restructure in our administrative structure where the improvement of customer service to our clubs in competition administration services has been identified as a key priority.

The opportunity

The Competitions Administrator is a permanent full-time position based at Football Brisbane headquarters at the Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre (QSAC), Nathan. However, our organisation is currently in the process of establishing a Brisbane zone ‘Home of Football’ in Logan City during the second half of the 2017 calendar year. Accordingly, Football Brisbane’s administration will also be shifted to that area.

This role will work closely with two other Competition Administrators in successfully administering Football Brisbane competitions across both senior and junior levels. Previous experience in sports administration would be an advantage.

Your principal responsibilities will be:

• Season Calendar Maintenance • Policy and Procedure Management • Draw Establishment and • Competition Maintenance

You will be detail minded, organised and willing to respond to all manner of questions from clubs relating to competitions using a priority-based ticketing system meaning that we are looking for someone who has the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.

Your customer service focus and highly developed communication skills will be important to enable you to improve our service to members. You will also need to be an enthusiastic, committed and customer-service focused professional who demonstrates a strong contribution to their team and a high degree of stakeholder management.

The position reports to the Competitions Manager.

Salary

$47,000 (including 9.5% superannuation)
